A maligned work-for-the-dole scheme run in remote and Aboriginal communities will be the subject of a senate inquiry.
The Community Development Programme was introduced July 1, 2015, replacing the Remote Jobs and Communities Programme, and has provided more than 12,400 job placements.
The programme came under scrutiny after a report from the Australian National University, released late last year, called it flawed and broken and urged it be reworked.
