GOVERNMENT UNDER PRESSURE TO CLARIFY POSITION ON INDIGENOUS JUSTICE TARGETS

The Federal Government is under pressure to clarify its position on Indigenous justice targets, after Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull softened resistance to the measure.

About a quarter of Australia's prison population is Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander despite making up just 3 per cent of the general population.
